Last summer, a live cam at Katmai National Park in Alaska captured a dramatic moment. A trio of grizzly bear cubs were splashing and chasing salmon above a waterfall when the swift current suddenly carried them over the edge. Fortunately, the mother bear was watching closely. She quickly plunged in and rushed to her struggling babies, helping them to safety.
But the eye of their God was watching over the elders of the Jews, and they were not stopped until a report could go to Darius and his written reply be received (Ezra 5:5).
God cares for His children but that doesn’t mean they will never face difficulties. The Jewish people were following God’s commands in restoring the temple when they encountered resistance. God came to their rescue and made a way for them to complete the work to which He had called them.
God’s eyes are on you as well. When trouble arises, you can be sure He is already working to turn the situation around for His glory and your good.
Prayer Suggestion: Lord, thank You for watching over me today.
